The manufacturer Tecnolumen is celebrating this with a special edition of the design icon. The number in the name refers to the year 1924, when Wilhelm Wagenfeld first presented the design. The WG24 is characterised by its glass base, glass stem and dome-shaped shade made of opal glass.
The WG24 anniversary edition includes the Wagenfeld lamp itself, a book entitled ‘Harmonious, timeless, round: the modern sphere’ and two postcards with Wilhelm Wagenfeld and anniversary motifs. The signature of designer Wilhelm Wagenfeld is engraved in the glass base of the lamp. A certificate of authenticity is attached to the lamp as a pendant.
