Description
One day a blue horse whispers crazy ideas into Mr. Kandinsky's ear: "Paint things the way they feel!" Landscapes emerge from pulsating, colourful spots. Herr Kandinsky is happy. But not everyone shares his enthusiasm, and suddenly his blue friend has disappeared ... In playful and loving illustrations the book shows the development of the Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky, his way to abstract art.
Author Daan Remmerts de Vries, born in 1962, first worked as an art teacher, today he works as an author and illustrator of children's books. He has been awarded numerous prizes, including the "Golden Pen".
