Description
The TAC Collection created in 1969 and named after Gropius’ Boston office “The Architects Collaborative” continues to embody the Bauhaus tradition to this day. In the Bauhaus anniversary year 2019, Rosenthal is once again taking up the first Stripes motif designed by Walter Gropius, which was introduced on white porcelain in 1970, and transforming it into a limited black porcelain tea set based on this design. The fine, hand-drawn lines combine the artisanal, free elements with the precise geometric shape. The shiny metallic surface made from powdered platinum, a handcrafted decorative gold leaf finish, lends the black porcelain a fascinating glow.
Tea set 3 pcs.:
1 x Sugar bowl 3 / 0,22 l
1 x Creamer 3 / 025 l
1 x Teapot 3 / 1,35 l
