Wilhelm Wagenfeld was fascinated by new materials and from 1955 designed various plastic articles, such as the first on-board tableware for Deutsche Lufthansa. These practical egg spoons were created in 1956. True to its motto of providing the right things for real life, the egg spoons quickly became constant companions of everyday life. FORMOST, together with the Wagenfeld Foundation, would like to revive the spirit of good goods that Wilhelm Wagenfeld coined and presents the egg spoons as a new addition to the FORMOST range.
As one of the central personalities of Bauhaus design, Wilhelm Wagenfeld stands for contemporary design and simple elegance. As the only pupil of the Bauhaus in Weimar, he successfully made his way into large-scale industrial production. This was not least due to his spirit of experimentation with new materials and his high standards of utility and aesthetics. At FORMOST, his attitude became an ideal for our daily product selection.
